My goal is to meet you where you are on your journey, provide a safe place for you to explore your experience, and help you get to where you want to be. My intention is to form a collaborative relationship with you and to be with you every step of the way as you explore ways to increase your emotional intelligence, make positive changes in your life, and discover your potential.
I came into counseling after over three decades of practicing law. During the past ten years, I found that I felt the most fulfilled when volunteering to help people who did not have the means to hire an attorney navigate the court system while they were trying to stabilize their lives. It was an honor to connect empathically with these clients, help them feel heard, and guide them forward on their paths. Based on this experience, I decided that I could best help people as a mental health counselor.
