Who cares for the caregiver?
Maybe there’s love. Maybe there’s resentment. Maybe there’s exhaustion.
It’s not easy to be in the role of caregiver, and you may feel misunderstood, taken for granted, burned out, and perhaps missing some of the other roles in your life. Yet talking about these things may bring feelings of guilt, shame, or sadness.
Come together with others who go through similar experiences. Be witnessed in your challenges by people who can understand. Learn together how to persevere, how to set boundaries, and how to make sure there’s something left for yourself.
